It's the time of year that I'm inclined to send a rhyming valentine.
To Caroline, sweet Caroline I chime sublime beginning rhymes --
Of course the meter could be sweeter
(And word-depleted good rhymes beaten) -- But,
Lost to new few truths through you to stew
With thoughts wrought not bought, I sought not distraught
A better grammar than to stammer mi'amor for the glamour
Of a nicely-worded absurd preferred, never slurred, nor moment-spurred but that should be heard just nonetheless.
And since it's june it may seem silly that I'd swoon and spend an afternoon
Or any time on rhyming valentines, I'd say I must agree.
But here I am and there you are and here I wrote it afterall.
